Mothers Of Preschoolers (MOPS)

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is an international non-profit Christian organization. Its mission is to support moms of young children (kindergarten and younger) and create communities where moms can share, laugh, cry, pray, eat, smile, and create, all while deepening their faith and creating lasting friendships.

MOPS also believes in developing leadership among moms, empowering them to realize their potential and helping them to flourish. In MOPS meetings, openness, vulnerability, and honesty are key. MOPS is a place where moms can feel at home. Moms share their ups and downs, encourage each other, listen, swap stories, and ask advice. The community built over craft projects, guest speakers, potluck buffets, and facilitated discussions help moms to realize the core MOPS mission of “no mom alone.”

All Saints Catholic School in partnership with St. John Neumann Parish, offers the All Saints MOPS program. During the school year, our MOPS program meets from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month (September through May) at St. John Neumann Parish located at 44800 Warren Road in Canton.

Any and all moms with children in kindergarten or younger, as well as first time expectant mothers, are welcome to join us. Each meeting will include a delicious brunch buffet, devotional/prayer time, and informal conversation. Meetings will also feature guest speakers, craft activities, group mixers, and service projects.

While the moms will meet in one space, screened and trained childcare workers will entertain and care for their children in other spaces, with age-appropriate toys, activities, Bible stories, games, and crafts (referred to as the “Moppets” program.) This social time for the children is just as fun and valuable as the social time for their moms.
