Junior High School

In an effort to provide a seamless transition to high school, All Saints created a “junior high” model for our students in grades 7 and 8, which mirrors high school level expectations. Students receive an individual schedule and rotate between six core academic teachers.

Teachers specialize in one specific content area based on their teaching degree endorsements (religion, language arts, science, social studies, or math). Time management and organizational skills are key focus areas within the junior high program.

Students are also able to select elective classes, taught by other certified teachers, based on their personal interest each year. These classes include STEM, guitar, advanced geography, computer coding, 2-D and 3-D art, dissection, film analysis, study hall, journalism, computer exploration, robotics, introduction to French, student teaching, and Spanish.  Students in grades 7 and 8 attend physical education/health one quarter throughout the school year.

All Saints Catholic School curriculum uses the Core Knowledge Sequence supported by Common Core Standard Skills in alignment with the Michigan Department of Education.
