ASCS Grads

Our Alumni

  • Alexis Dickie (’15) currently attends Mercy High School where she runs cross country and track and serves as class officer for her freshman class.

  • Luke Jacobs (’15) attends Orchard Lake St Mary’s Preparatory and lives on campus in the dormitory five days a week.

  • Jacqueline Hijaouy (’15) attends Mercy High School.  She currently participates in many clubs (science, yoga, iwizards, and high schoolers without borders), and she is looking forward to joining the tennis team in the spring.

  • Isabel Sanabria (’15) attends Plymouth High School where she runs cross country and is looking forward to becoming involved in softball, cheerleading, and the Quidditch Club in future years.

  • Cate Kirkwood (’15) attends Plymouth High School within the biomedical stem program.

  • Alexa Rybicki (’14) attends Mercy High School where she dives for the varsity diving team and participates in quiz bowl, Spanish Honor Society, and science club.

  • Valerie Goodwin (’14) attends Divine Child High School and actively participates in theater.

  • Erin Montgomery (’14) is currently at Father Gabriel Richard High School.

  • Brittany Berardi (’13) attends Divine Child High School; she plays on the varsity volleyball team, participates in club volleyball, and she waitresses at a local restaurant.

  • Megan Bacigal (’12) attends Grand Valley State University where she is majoring in Allied Health Science with an emphasis in Speech-Language Pathology. She will be graduating in April and looks forward to attending graduate school to get a master’s degree in speech-language pathology.

  • Roscelia Fahmy (’12) currently attends Oakland Early College. She is working on both high school and college credits. She has been active in several film fests, and she looks forward to graduating with a cinematography degree and high school diploma.

  • Eryn Zelek (’12) is currently enjoying her senior year living and studying in Lima, Peru, through the Rotary Youth Exchange Program. She is studying Spanish and plans on attending college in the United States next year.

  • Collin Jorgensen (’11) graduated from Saint Francis Cabrini High School in 2015 with a 4.0 average, ranking 15 out of 144 students. He currently attends Grand Valley State University where he is majoring in mechanical engineering.

  • Kelsey Cheaney (’11) graduated from Canton High School and is now attending Siena Heights University, majoring in criminal justice and playing soccer for her college team.

  • Samantha Dickie (’11) graduated from Mercy High School and is currently attending Northern Michigan University where she swims and dives for her college team. She is studying art and design with a concentration in human-centered design.

  • Alex Hosko (’10) graduated from Detroit Catholic Central in 2014 and is currently a Midshipman 3/C in the Naval ROTC Unit at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss). He is studying forensic chemistry, and upon graduation in 2018, he will be commissioned as an Officer in the United States Navy.

  • Mark Zdan (’10) graduated from Detroit Catholic Central and is currently majoring in mechanical engineering at Central Michigan University. When not in school, he enjoys working as a backpacking guide in New Mexico.

  • Lindsey Gryniewcicz (’09) is currently a junior at Hope College where she is studying mathematics in secondary education and minoring in psychology education. She is actively engaged in college life: participating on the pull team, working at the Center for STEM Inquiry Science and Engineering Summer Academies, and serving as a member of both Pi Mu Epsilon (national mathematics honor society) and Omicron Delta Kappa (national leadership honor society). 

  • Elyse Gryniewcicz (’08) is a senior at Hope College pursing a bachelor’s of science in nursing with a minor in psychology. She has represented her school in cross country and track and is active in many student groups promoting leadership, community service, and mentorship. She also volunteers her time at the Holland Free Health Clinic and tutors. She plans on seeking employment in the emergency medical setting and applying for her doctorate to become a nurse practitioner.

  • Justin Bekker (’08) currently attends Wayne State University where he is studying mechanical engineering with a minor in business administration. He has been an active member of the Formula SAE team which designs, builds, and races small scale open wheel race cars. Following graduation, he hopes to work for one of the large automotive companies racing, researching, or developing power train systems.

  • Victoria Campbell (’07) is a senior at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. She is pursuing an education in production design and business, and she serves as a student ambassador. She has held multiple internships including working at Hasbro as the Nerf Design Co-Op.

  • Chris Perkovich (’07) is currently a senior at Saginaw Valley State University and has played college baseball for four year (starting every game but three in his college career). Upon graduation, he will begin working at TEKsystems in Southfield.

  • Matt Berardi (’07) graduated from Schoolcraft College with an associate’s degree in culinary art. He is currently working at Rocky’s of Northville and is attending Wayne State University for his bachelor’s in business.

  • Marissa Mazziotti (’07) graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in hospitality business. Over the years, she has worked as an assistant manager at Little Caesars, a front desk supervisor at Mission Point Resort on Mackinac Island, a food and beverage intern at Walt Disney World, and an attractions intern at Walt Disney World. She is currently working at Vail Resorts and will be moving to the Grand Teton National Park following the winter season.

  • Ashley Knowles (’07) is currently a senior at Eastern Michigan University where she is pursuing a bachelor’s in marketing with a concentration in advertising. She is also serving as the vice president of Digital Communications for the American Marketing Association- EMU Chapter.

  • Ashley Meadows (’06) graduated from Grand Valley State with a degree in education and English language arts. She is currently working as a permanent district substitute for Grandville Public Schools in Grand Rapids.

  • Alec Martin (’06) graduated from Western Michigan University in 2014 with a major in integrated supply chain management. He received internships at UBS Investments and Ford Motor Company. He currently works as a buyer at Ford Motor Company.

  • Jennifer Gunnis (’05) attended Canton High School and graduated in 2009. She enrolled at Eastern Michigan University where she majored in nursing and completed her undergraduate work in 3 1/2 years. She received her BSN in December of 2012 with cum laude honors.
